A world's largest luxury marketplace serving the needs of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) in life's most valuable transactions is looking for BI/Data engineer.
About the role:
We are looking for a Data Scientist / BI analyst to analyze the data in the current structure as well as design (and implement) an improved data storage system tailored to business needs. The company offers an exciting opportunity to build the data storage and analytics infrastructure from scratch proposing and implementing tools of your choice. The company has positions for both senior and junior levels.
Main responsibilities:
- Identify current data sources, integrate multiple sources or types of data, and apply expertise within a data source.
- Identify weak spots and opportunities in the current data structure, propose a solution to fix it, and create tasks for developers to implement your vision.
- Apply tools and techniques to efficiently collect, clean, and prepare massive volumes of data for analysis.
- Interpret results using a BI tool of your preference and develop insights into formulated problems within the business context.
- Work in close relationship with business and product managers to develop and test hypotheses around product and business development.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with big data for generating business insights and understanding the underlying structure of it.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools.
- Profound knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- At least intermediate English skills.
- Experience in designing / building data warehouses (for senior levels).
